This degree programme provides fundamental knowledge in key mathematical areas such as algebra, analysis, geometry, and stochastics, as well as their application and pedagogy. It cultivates scientific thinking, analytical precision, and creative problem-solving skills. Students learn to confidently apply mathematical concepts, grasp complex relationships, and plan, design, and analyze mathematics lessons. The teacher training programme prepares students for their role in empowering pupils to think independently and critically. In addition to subject-specific expertise, the programme strengthens key skills such as abstract reasoning, meticulous work techniques, communication skills, creativity, and teamwork. The program consists of subject-specific and subject-didactic components (97 CP), teacher training modules (16 CP), and includes mandatory modules (87 CP) and mandatory elective modules (10 CP).
