Chemistry studies at RUB explore how different materials originate from elements, how life processes work at the micro level, how energy-saving processes can be optimized, how new drugs are developed, and how new materials can be discovered. The program provides scientific explanations for everyday phenomena and constitutes the link between biology, physics, mathematics and material science. Students can specialize in fields such as Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, and Theoretical Chemistry.
