The Taxation 3in1 bachelor's programme links an academic degree in business administration with vocational training to become an assistant tax adviser and professional practice. Students can attain both qualifications in just nine semesters. The program is offered in cooperation with the Steuerberaterverband Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf association of tax advisers) and the Max-Weber-Berufskolleg Düsseldorf vocational school. During the first five semesters, students study at HSD alongside vocational schooling while completing practical training in a tax consultancy. After passing the examination to become assistant tax adviser, the following four semesters combine professional practice with continued studies. The program focuses on attaining a comprehensive understanding of business contexts with special consideration of tax aspects. Core areas include financial reporting, taxation, and law. Graduates are able to recognise, analyse and structure business decisions relating to taxation on a scientific basis.
