Electrical engineering is offered as a vocational subject area within the Master's Teacher Training Course for Technical Education for Single-subject Bachelor's Graduates (LBS-Sprint). In addition, students are required to study a second subject or teaching subject. During their studies, students acquire the didactic skills in the vocational field of electrical engineering, which they need as the necessary basis for working as a teacher at a vocational school. This initially includes the design of teaching materials and testing the use of these materials. They then increase their subject-didactic skills by planning, implementing and evaluating a teaching unit at a vocational school with subject-didactic support. The information technology skills from the bachelor's degree are taken up and deepened in class with further concepts (object-oriented programming, graphical programming).

* Minimum degree required: An undergraduate degree in a related field of study, such as Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (Bachelor of Science), Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Science), Mechatronics (Bachelor of Science), Power Engineering (Bachelor of Science), or Nursing part-time (Bachelor of Arts) at the University of Hanover * Special Requirements: Aptitude test procedure for the teaching subject sports; Completed relevant vocational training for the professional subject nursing * For mechanical engineering and electrical engineering: Students without a relevant vocational qualification must complete 52 weeks of practical training before registering their Master's thesis
