The degree programme in Health Management combines managing organisations and companies in the health sector with law, controlling, financing, health economics and provision structures. Students learn about the complex topics and demands specific to the sector and acquire the specialist knowledge required to effectively handle the administration and organisation of resources. The program includes a foundation course (semesters 1-3) covering business administration, law, managing organisations and networks, scientific methodology, and healthcare. It also includes a three-week nursing internship. The advanced course (semesters 4-7) examines economic issues in the management of the health sector. The 5th semester is a practical semester spent in a company or organisation. In semesters 6 and 7, students choose two majors from options including health promotion and disease prevention, elderly care, contract management, patient-oriented care management, and international healthcare.
