* Bachelor's degree in Sports Science (B.A. or B.Sc.) or a teaching-related Bachelor's degree with a focus on teaching at high schools with Sport as one of the two subjects, or a degree from a university in Germany or abroad that does not differ significantly from these
* At least 65 credit points in a sports science subject
* Credits in the area of subject didactics, including mandatory four individual and four team sports
* Credits in the scientific areas, including mandatory sports sociology, sports medicine, training and movement science, sports pedagogy and sports psychology, as well as statistics
