Jeodezi ve Jeoinformatik, jeo-uzamsal verileri ve süreçleri kaydetme, yönetme, analiz etme ve sunma bilimi olarak, yaşam alanlarımızın ve ekonomik bölgelerimizin yapılarıyla ilgilenir. Jeobilimden mühendisliğe ve sosyal bilimlere uzanan, çevre bilimleri, arazi yönetimi ve mekansal planlama ile sonuçlanan bir alanı kapsar. Program, sürdürülebilir arazi kullanım sistemlerinin planlanması ve sürekli değişen yapılı ve henüz yapılmamış çevrenin kaydedilmesi ve görselleştirilmesiyle ilgilenir. Jeodezi ve Jeoinformatik, jeodezi, fotogrametri, metroloji, navigasyon, coğrafi bilgi sistemleri ve coğrafi görselleştirme alanlarını kapsayan modern bir ölçme biçimini temsil eder. Çeşitli görevler, yüksek düzeyde geliştirilmiş teknolojik ölçüm sistemleri ve yöntemleri kullanılarak gerçekleştirilir. HCU'daki bu lisans programı, bilgi teknolojileri ile doğa ve mühendislik bilimlerinde sağlam bir yeterlilik sunarken, aynı zamanda daha disiplinlerarası bir düşünme biçimini ve disiplinlerarası bir ekipte çalışma yeteneğini teşvik eder. HCU ayrıca bu Bachelor programını çeşitli işbirliği ortaklarıyla uygulamaya entegre bir çalışma modeli olarak sunarak, tam zamanlı eğitimi finanse etme ve teori ile pratiği birleştirme fırsatı sağlar.

Geodesy and Geoinformatics, as the science of recording, administering, analysing and presenting geospatial data and processes, deals with the structures of our living spaces and economic areas. It covers an area ranging from geoscience to engineering and social sciences culminating in the environmental sciences, land management and spatial planning. The program is involved in the planning of sustainable land use systems and the recording and visualisation of the constantly changing built and as yet unbuilt environment. Geodesy and Geoinformatics stands for a modern form of surveying, which covers the areas of geodesy, photogrammetry, metrology, navigation, geographical information systems as well as geographical visualisation. The diverse tasks are accomplished using highly developed technological measurement systems and methods. The degree course at the HCU offers a sound qualification in information technology as well as natural and engineering sciences, while simultaneously encouraging a more transdisciplinary way of thinking as well as the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. HCU also offers this Bachelor's degree programme as a practice-integrated study model with various cooperation partners, providing an opportunity to finance full-time studies and combine theory and practice.
