Diploma program for full-time church music service for Protestant and Catholic students. The program aims to enable students to independently carry out church music service in a parish or church district in cooperation with pastors and other staff. It also prepares students for pedagogical activities in the training of part-time church musicians and volunteers, as well as for supervisory tasks. The program features a six-week internship in a parish, integration of popular music content in various subjects, and a broad range of elective options. The diploma follows the framework of the Conference of Leaders of Church and State Training Institutions for Church Music and Regional Church Music Directors in the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD). Funding according to BAföG is possible. The Church Music (B) diploma qualifies graduates to apply for any B-church musician position.
