📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program provides advanced knowledge in the interface between chemistry and economics. The educational program builds consecutively on the Bachelor's program in Chemistry with a focus on Economics. The focus is on practical training incorporating chemical and economic research priorities. The curriculum of the Master's program allows students to design individual profiles and prepare for a thesis in a research area in chemistry or economics. In the first and second semesters, students broaden their knowledge by choosing three basic modules in chemistry and one basic module in economics. In the second and third semesters, competencies are deepened with advanced modules in chemistry and economics. These advanced modules reflect various research priorities of the two participating departments. The program concludes with a master's thesis, in which a topic is independently worked on following the principles of good scientific practice. The educational program is strongly practice-oriented. Students can complete research internships either at the Department of Chemistry or at European ERASMUS partner universities.
