Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Medien is the only degree programme in Germany that specifically offers industrial engineering with a media focus. Practical lectures, projects and company collaborations impart skills for a modern and media-oriented labour market. Under the motto "Invent. Design. Steer." it qualifies graduates for work at the interfaces between business, technology, IT and media. The programme structure includes a foundation programme (1st-2nd semester) with knowledge in economics, natural sciences, software and web technologies and design, followed by the main course of study with compulsory and elective modules. It includes an internship semester in the 5th semester and concludes with a Bachelor's thesis in the 7th semester.
