📋 Program Hakkında

This program prepares students to become teachers of Evangelical Religion at regional schools in Germany. The study focuses on Christianity with its traditions, texts, history, and future in the context of culture and society, including the study of other religions (Judaism, Islam, etc.). The program emphasizes the exploration of contemporary cultural phenomena in art, music, pop culture, sports, natural sciences, politics, etc., regarding their connection points for religious interpretations. The curriculum follows a spiral approach covering Old Testament, New Testament, Church History, Systematic Theology, Religious History, Religion and Society, Practical Theology, Religious Education/Subject Didactics, and Ecumenism - Christianity and Culture. The program encourages students to engage with social reality and its different interpretative worlds, to develop their own approaches to theology and spirituality, and to consider the opportunities and challenges of open religious interest in a non-denominational context.

* General university entrance qualification (Abitur) is required * Participation in the CCT self-exploration procedure is required for all teaching degree programs * No additional subject-specific admission requirements for Evangelical Religion
