The Bachelor's program in Mathematics at BTU provides a solid foundation for a career. Mathematics is essential for modern society, powering innovations like internet search engines, medical imaging, autonomous robots, weather forecasting, climate models, and vehicle crash tests. The program allows students to understand the code that describes various scientific, social, and economic processes. About 80% of the studies consist of mathematical subjects, 15% focus on the chosen application field (e.g., Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration), and the rest is divided between an internship and interdisciplinary studies. The program features small learning groups and excellent supervision by teaching staff. BTU offers an excellently equipped library and modern computer rooms with important mathematical software for studies. The program can also be studied as a dual practice-integrated study program (7 semesters) starting from winter semester 23/24.
