📋 Program Hakkında

Pedagogics is all about dealing intensively with theories of pedagogical action and the fundamentals of general pedagogy and vocational pedagogy. The program focuses on knowing the aims, methods, historical foundations and institutional aspects of education and teaching, enabling students to recognize and locate pedagogical problems, analyze them holistically and reflect on them critically. The degree program at KIT focuses on the fundamentals of educational and social research and vocational pedagogy. The program includes lectures, tutorials, seminars, and a compulsory internship of at least 6 weeks. Students can choose a supplementary compulsory elective subject from options like German Literature, History, History of Art, Media Culture, Philosophy, Sociology, or Technology Assessment.

* General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) * Subject-restricted higher education entrance qualification (not Fachhochschulreife) * Delta examination of the University of Mannheim (for holders of a Fachhochschulreife) * Recognized advanced vocational training (e.g. master craftsperson) or vocational training, professional experience and aptitude test for those with professional qualifications * For non-EU/EEA nationals with a foreign school-leaving certificate, specific country requirements apply
