📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Technical Medicine offers a four-semester specialization for students who already have a first professional degree and want to expand their skills at a scientific level. Students in this Master's program are also enabled to communicate with medical professionals and engineers. With the two Master profiles "Neuroengineering and Robotics" and "Biomedical Technology", the program enables specialized engagement with current developments and research areas in medical technology. Students learn to analyze complex technical and scientific problems, work systematically on their own, and develop viable solutions in interdisciplinary contexts. Through electives and projects, the program specifically prepares for leadership and project responsibility. Graduates master the mathematical and engineering fundamentals of their field, understand medical and technical phenomena, and can apply and develop these in their work. They are well qualified to independently acquire new knowledge and to analyze and design complex systems and interactions.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent natural science or engineering degree with at least 180 ECTS credits * Overall grade of at least 2.7 or better is generally required * Proof of knowledge and skills in medicine or medical technology totaling 45 ECTS credits * Alternatively: successful completion of the first section of the Medical Examination in the Medicine program (1st State Examination) in conjunction with successful completion of an engineering bachelor's degree

* German: DSH 2 level or TestDaF (TDN 4) required for non-German speakers * English: Sufficient English language skills to follow courses in English and read English technical literature
