The Master's program in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) is a combined study program (Verbundstudium) that allows students to study while working, training, or managing family responsibilities. The program consists of 70% self-study with tailored learning materials and 30% in-person classes on selected Saturdays. It focuses on management-oriented tasks in the IT sector, qualifying graduates for leadership positions in companies' IT departments and for higher service in public administration. The curriculum includes management-oriented topics such as IT controlling, IT management, and IT consulting, as well as specialized modules on requirements engineering for digital solutions, information and communication technology, IT security, and usability engineering. The program also includes an advanced business simulation game to develop leadership skills, a module dedicated to scientific methods, and an elective module for specialization in a sub-field of business informatics.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Business Informatics or a closely related field in Computer Science or Business * Minimum Grade Required: At least "good" (2.5) overall grade * Degrees from universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschule) or universities are accepted * Degrees from vocational academies (Berufsakademie) are only accepted if they are from accredited Bachelor's programs in the above-mentioned fields with an overall grade of at least "good" (2.5)
