The master's degree program in German-French Studies / Études franco-allemandes at the Universities of Bonn and Paris Sorbonne has a bi-national philological orientation. Students primarily study French and German studies in equal parts. The program conveys in-depth, specialized and theoretical knowledge in philology and cultural studies on an interdisciplinary and intercultural level. The contrastive orientation allows students to gain experience with methodological differences by studying one year at a French university and one year at a German university. The program provides a well-grounded education in literature and linguistics. Graduates receive a double diploma from both universities.
