Çevre Bilişimi, çevre bilimlerini modern bilgi teknolojisiyle birleştirir. Program, öğrencilere çevre ve coğrafi verileri pratik bir şekilde toplamayı ve analiz etmeyi öğretir. Öğrenciler, gerçek çevre sorunlarını çözmek ve sürdürülebilir bir geleceğe aktif olarak katkıda bulunmak için akıllı BT çözümleri geliştirirler. Program, çevre verilerini yakalamak ve değerlendirmek için yazılım veya uygulama geliştirme, çevre bilgi sistemlerinin programlanması ve bakımı ile enerji bilgi sistemlerinin planlanması ve kontrolünü kapsar.

Environmental Informatics combines environmental sciences with modern information technology. The program teaches students to collect and analyze environmental and geodata in a practical way. Students develop smart IT solutions to solve real environmental problems and actively contribute to a sustainable future. The program covers development of software or apps for capturing and evaluating environmental data, programming and maintenance of environmental information systems, and planning and control of energy information systems.
