📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Animation and Game Design prepares graduates for leadership roles within the global media industry. Delivered in a stimulating, research-driven environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the program enables students to develop advanced expertise in the conceptualization and production of digital games and animations. Its strong emphasis on innovation and critical inquiry also positions the program as a solid foundation for academic research, qualifying graduates for further scholarly pursuits, including doctoral studies in related fields. The degree program offers two optional specializations: The "Creative Direction" specialization integrates relevant subject areas such as art direction, game design, game experience design, animation cinematography and narrative design into a project-based learning scenario. Students acquire up-to-date methods in the areas of research, creative leadership and creative entrepreneurship, which enable them to develop and implement innovative creative visions. The "Technical Direction" specialization covers the technological dimensions of animation and game creation and production, such as: advanced technical art, advanced game programming, visual effects, technological pipelines and tools and augmented and virtual reality technologies. It provides students with technological research and development methods as well as leadership and entrepreneur skills.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in a related subject * 4-semester version requires a degree with 180 ECTS * 3-semester version requires a degree with 210 ECTS * 2-semester version requires a degree with 240 ECTS * Subject-related entrance exam for the chosen specialization must be passed * Entrance exam consists of two stages: portfolio exam and interview
