Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics) is an interdisciplinary field that combines computer science, economics, and particularly business administration. The program is offered as a dual study program where theoretical blocks alternate with practical phases at the employer. Students can combine it with vocational training (training-integrated variant) or with practical work independent of vocational training (practice-integrated variant). Graduates develop technical and analytical skills as well as excellent communication and project management abilities. The program offers the opportunity to earn three qualifications in three years: a Bachelor's degree, a vocational qualification, and instructor aptitude. Career prospects include software development, data science, IT consulting, e-Business, and project management in various industries.
