The Master's program in Trombone at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin focuses on advanced specialization and personal artistic development. The program aims to provide students with specialized and in-depth professional and general musical as well as musicological education, enabling them to interpret musical works with individual interpretation at a very high artistic and instrumental level as soloists and chamber musicians. The curriculum includes private lessons in trombone, correpetition, orchestra projects, and elective courses in musicology/music theory and music communication. Students develop stage presence through performance experience and gain competence in organizing and conducting projects. The program culminates in a Master's thesis consisting of a public concert, a written program booklet, and an oral examination.
