Human Geography focuses on how societies are organized from a territorial perspective, the effects of globalization, and trends in towns and cities. The program examines social, cultural, and economic phenomena from a geographical perspective. Students study the conception and meaning of spaces, territorial organization, and the relationship between society and the environment. The program includes topics such as urban research, migration, and economic change. Students will conduct their own studies outdoors on various selected topics and learn to create digital maps using geoinformatics and earth observation techniques. The minor subject comprises two fields: 'Human Geography' and 'Cartography/Geoinformatics', with six compulsory modules (40 CP) and four required elective modules (20 CP).
