The Bachelor of Education in Chemistry provides a broad and in-depth understanding of the world of substances, their properties, and reactions - knowledge that can later be passed on to students. The program teaches how atoms and molecules are structured, how chemical bonds work, and what mechanisms drive chemical processes. It offers a solid scientific education in the central disciplines of chemistry: inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and analytics. In addition to scientific training, chemistry didactics also plays an important role: students learn how to effectively communicate chemical content, meaningfully use experiments, and support learning processes in the classroom. A significant component of the studies is laboratory work, where theory is put into practice: students learn to carefully plan and conduct experiments, work with analytical equipment, and systematically evaluate results.
