📋 Program Hakkında

The research-oriented Master's program in Chemistry builds on the curricular content of the Bachelor's program in Chemistry with basic modules and advanced modules from the fields of Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, and Theoretical Chemistry. The Master's curriculum enables a distinct profiling of study content in the direction of the research focuses represented in the department: Reactivity, Catalysis and Sustainability; Spectroscopy, Magnetism and Materials; Life Sciences and Bioanalytics. The program is structured into basic modules, advanced modules, elective modules, and a final module. The first and second semesters consist of a combination of fundamentals and specializations. Specializations, which can be selected from the respective focus areas, consist of courses and an associated chemical practical. In the third semester, there is the opportunity to freely choose courses from a large range of offerings, making this semester optimal for a semester abroad. The Master's thesis is scheduled for the fourth semester.
