📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's program in Building Conservation and Construction Work on Existing Buildings provides knowledge of historical building structures and materials, focusing particularly on the technical aspects of building conservation. The program trains students to work in the context of building preservation: recording, recognizing, preserving, and upgrading buildings. It sensitizes students to the responsible treatment of existing building fabric, balancing monument preservation objectives with modern usage requirements. The interdisciplinary approach promotes teamwork and communication skills between civil engineers and architects. Study objects include buildings, engineering structures, and technical installations, mainly from around 1800 to the present day, but also medieval buildings. The technical focus is supplemented by topics from economics, law, history, and preservation of historical monuments.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* First professionally qualifying university degree (210 ECTS credit points for Track 3, at least 180 ECTS credit points for Track 4) in one of the following fields: * Civil Engineering * Architecture * Conservation and Restoration (in the preservation of historical monuments) * Any other engineering discipline at the discretion of the admissions commission
