The Bachelor's program in Materials Science covers the basics of materials science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and programming in the first three semesters. The second half focuses on more in-depth materials science content including sustainable materials, methods of materials science, functional properties of solids, and construction materials. The program includes three compulsory elective areas: Elective courses in material science (e.g., electrical engineering, machine learning), Technical and scientific elective courses (e.g., biomimetics, organic chemistry, robotics), and General studies (e.g., economics, business administration). The program concludes with a three-month bachelor thesis in one of the research groups.
