📋 Program Hakkında

The M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction at University Bauhaus explores the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive systems. With a focus on usability, user-centered design, and emerging technologies such as VR, AR, and ubiquitous computing, students gain in-depth theoretical knowledge and hands-on project experience in a uniquely interdisciplinary and research-driven environment. The program is designed for students with a strong academic background in computer science or related disciplines who seek to explore the cutting-edge of interface design, usability, and interaction technologies. It welcomes internationally-minded, technically skilled applicants who are curious about interdisciplinary research and eager to design innovative, human-centered systems. The curriculum combines core HCI modules—covering psychology, interface design, computer vision, and ubiquitous computing—with interdisciplinary electives and two extensive research projects. Students can tailor their path through design theory, technical specialization, and creative elective courses, culminating in an independent Master's thesis.

✅ Giriş / Kabul Koşulları

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor of Science degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or a related technical-scientific field with sufficient courses in computer science and HCI * Minimum Grade Required: At least 2.0 in the German system (1 is excellent, 4 is bad) * Required documents: Motivation letter of 2-4 pages explaining specific motivation for HCI degree and overview of educational/work experience relevant to HCI * Background requirements: Solid programming skills, knowledge of CS concepts, and background in mathematics * Note: Applicants close to entry requirements may be accepted with stipulations to complete extra courses
