This is a two-year Master's program 'Master of Public Administration - Police Management' for the Higher Police Service. The program is divided into two phases: the first decentralized academic year takes place at a location in the Northern Association (Bremen, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), and the second year centrally at the German Police University in Münster. The curriculum includes modules on personnel management, strategic organizational management, operational management, traffic safety work, legal and criminal science topics, and the significance of the police in administration, politics, and society. Each module concludes with an examination, and students must write a master's thesis to obtain the 'Master of Arts' degree.
