The Interactive Media program focuses on conceptual, communication-specific, and technical design aspects of interactive and networked media. Through seminars and projects, students explore the aesthetics and semiotics of digital media and analyze their interaction principles. Interdisciplinary projects allow experimentation with various media staging forms, from information design and networked applications to animation, motion graphics, and media technology installations. The program emphasizes critical and creative engagement with new interaction concepts and social networking strategies. After completing a Bachelor's degree, students can pursue a Master's program in 'Interactive Information Design' within the Communication Design department at Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design. The Master's program extends beyond monitor-based displays to integrate interactive information design into public information spaces, creating emotional and experiential installations that interact with real objects and spaces.
