📋 Program Hakkında

The Bachelor of Education in Protestant Religious Studies prepares students to teach religious education in schools. The program explores fundamental religious questions such as the origin of the world, the existence of God, and the presence of suffering and injustice. Students develop skills to discuss these topics with pupils, guiding them in self-discovery and critical reflection on religious and philosophical positions. The curriculum is diverse, covering philosophical, historical, archaeological, sociological, and linguistic discourses. Students study biblical texts and Christian traditions, with special emphasis on Reformation theology. The program includes theological and religious pedagogical courses, teaching methods, and practical seminars. Students learn to articulate questions of Christian faith, develop theological perspectives on contemporary issues, and critically engage with various sources (biblical, archaeological, or church-historical). The program requires knowledge of English for reading academic literature, as well as Latin and Greek language skills (which can be acquired during the study if not already possessed).
