This seminar is specifically designed for communication designers in relation to their clients. It primarily focuses on contract law: What to consider during initial client contact, how to determine pricing and justify fee requirements, how to formulate cost estimates, what to consider for sample designs/illustrations, how to contractually define the scope of work (conception, drafts, correction stages, deadlines, etc.). The seminar also covers what graphic designers should consider for book publications, which clauses from standard contracts should be deleted, accepted, or renegotiated, which rights can be transferred and which should be retained (usage rights, copyright), VG Bild and VG Wort, tax deductibility of workplaces, practical application of income and sales tax, and copyright issues. The seminar takes place on Saturday, November 8 and Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
