Philosophieren mit Kindern (Philosophy with Children) is a teaching program for primary schools. In this program, students learn how children develop philosophical thinking, sort thoughts and discuss them together. Children develop their own questions and explore the relationship between humans, nature, and technology. They study the foundations of human coexistence in state and society: human rights, freedom, equality, happiness, justice, and the art of living. The program consists of a basic study period (first four semesters) and an advanced study period. The basic studies include mandatory foundational courses in 'Introduction to Philosophy' and 'Language, Logic, Argumentation', along with courses in theoretical philosophy (questions of recognition and speaking) and practical philosophy (questions of action, moral norms, and political order). The advanced study period focuses on independent deepening and content specialization within theoretical and practical philosophy.
