📋 Program Hakkında

Building on a bachelor's degree in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering or a related bachelor's degree programme, students receive specialised further training in the field of vehicle development. The study programme deals intensively with key vehicle components such as the chassis and bodywork. Innovative drive systems, digitalisation in vehicles and mechatronic systems such as driver assistance systems are also discussed. Students also have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of modern development methods and the associated software. The Master's in Automotive Engineering offers specialization in three areas: Integral Vehicle Safety, Simulation in Vehicle Development or Innovative Vehicle Structures. A broad course of study without specialisation is also possible. The programme can be completed either full-time (3 semesters) or part-time (6 semesters).

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's or "Diplom"-degree in Engineering or Science, or an equivalent degree * Minimum Credit Points: 210 credit points (in conformity with General Examination Regulations) * Alternative: Successful completion of an equivalent degree at a foreign university * Admission restrictions apply each semester
