Technical Cybernetics and Systems Theory is an interdisciplinary science between engineering sciences and applied mathematics. The program provides excellent basic mathematical education along with intensive study of automation, modeling, analysis, systems theory, control and optimization of technical processes. Students also study basic subjects from natural sciences, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science. The program offers specialization in application fields such as biomedical engineering, energy networks or robotics. Practical experiments accompany lectures, allowing students to practice advanced methods for modeling traffic, controlling drive systems, or describing complex processes in precision robotics systems. The program prepares graduates for professional fields including aerospace technology, robotics, environmental systems technology, automotive and electrical industries.
