📋 Program Hakkında
The Food Chemistry program provides essential teaching content in experimental chemistry, analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry, along with general foundations in biology, physics and mathematics. From the fourth semester onwards, there is a focus on the areas of food chemistry and instrumental analytics. The laboratory component in the study accounts for approximately forty percent. The curriculum is supplemented by practical courses and lectures on various areas such as biology/botany/general microbiology, water chemistry/water analytics and biochemistry. The basic module in toxicology creates foundations for working in professional fields that include risk and safety assessment of food and chemicals. The program concludes with a bachelor's thesis in the form of an analytical characterization of a food product.
