The Master's program in Visual Communication enables students to develop competencies for analyzing social contexts and implementing creative design projects. The program covers classic graphic design areas (book and poster design), audiovisual media (film), interaction design (web design, interactive installations, generative design), or interdisciplinary approaches. Students develop an independent design language, aesthetic judgment skills (art direction), and a personal competence profile. The program emphasizes research, experimentation, and the development of individual design projects culminating in a master's thesis. Students learn to articulate and critically discuss their work, document their creative processes, and position their projects within contemporary theory and practice of visual media, design, and fine arts.
