The Social Services Management degree programme combines social science and management skills. Students learn how social enterprises operate and the special features and challenges of the social sector. The programme covers management aspects including projects, human resources, and quality management at an international level, as well as legal issues pertaining to the management of social organisations. Students use scientific methods to identify, evaluate and address contemporary social challenges. The foundation course (semesters 1-3) teaches fundamental principles of business administration, law, methodology, and connections with social sciences and social economics. The advanced course (semesters 4-7) includes three theoretical semesters and one practical semester. Students select two subjects to major in from options including Social Economy, Human Resource Management, Sustainable Social Management, International Social Management, and International Social Services Management. The programme includes opportunities for studying abroad and a practical semester.
