📋 Program Hakkında

The Psychology master's programme with a focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy is based on the reform of the law on the training of psychotherapists and the Regulations on the Licensing of Psychotherapists. The program provides in-depth specialized scientific knowledge, methodological knowledge about relevant research methods, and professional and practical skills. Students can specialize in an area of choice through lessons and internships in different scientific fields. Internships are completed in the University's out-patient departments, the University Hospital, and external hospitals where students learn to treat patients. A unique feature of this program is the close cooperation with the University Hospital and the knowledge in Behavioral Therapy, Depth Therapy, and Systemic Therapy provided by the three specialized Clinical Psychology chairs. The program is worth 120 credits and fully implements the requirements of the Psychotherapy Law (PsychThG) and the Regulations on the Licensing of Psychotherapists.

* Minimum degree required: Polyvalent bachelor's degree in psychology according to PsychThApprO (minimum 3-year/180 ECTS) * Professional recognition: Proof of professional recognition of the degree in accordance with PsychThApprO or proof of equivalence * Selection criteria: Final grade of undergraduate degree, final grade of higher secondary education certificate, subject-specific scientific suitability, completed health professional training (if applicable)
