📋 Program Hakkında
The Master's program in Slavic Studies / Eastern European Studies with a specialization in Polish Studies focuses on Polish language, literature, and culture in their transnational contexts. Students analyze Polish literature and linguistic structures against the background of Slavic and general cultural interconnections, relating them to other Slavic and non-Slavic language and cultural spheres. The program emphasizes comparative literary studies and deepens methods for understanding linguistic structures using modern literary, cultural, and linguistic theories. Students study the historical development of Polish literature and linguistically relevant phenomena, as well as methodological insights into linguistic data types in their historical dimension. The program offers three profile options: 'Philology', 'Literature and History', or 'Linguistics'. Students also study a second Slavic language (Russian, Czech, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, or Lithuanian/Latvian/Finnish).
