The study of sports science at Osnabrück University is characterized by a close interlocking of theory and practice. The course focuses on the areas of school sport, physical education, health promotion and sport as prevention, psychomotor skills/motor pedagogy, sport management and sport development. In the dual-subject Bachelor, students study two core subjects or combine a major subject with a minor subject. The subject Sport/Sport Science is offered as a core and minor subject. Graduates can pursue careers in sports clubs, leisure facilities and social and curative education institutions. Students can also pursue a Master of Secondary Education (Gymnasium) to work as a secondary school teacher.

* Minimum degree required: German Higher Education Entrance Qualification (Abitur) or equivalent * Non-academic requirements: By the end of the second Bachelor's semester, students must provide proof of first aid training and the DLRG rescue badge in bronze (both not older than two years)
