Through concrete projects, students will investigate how AI-generated code development can contribute to creating hardware and software prototypes faster and potentially more reliably. By utilizing the possibilities of generative AI in coding, students can work more efficiently and increase productivity. The course also addresses challenges of this technology, as improperly used AI can quickly become a nuisance when it delivers incorrect results due to inaccurate prompts. Therefore, it is crucial for designers to learn basic skills and techniques in dealing with generative AI to avoid this problem.
