📋 Program Hakkında

The Master's programme in Social Sciences at TU Braunschweig is designed for students interested in working in the fields of society and politics, political parties, administration, foundations, associations, international organisations, business or science, or pursuing a doctorate in social sciences. Over four semesters, students acquire expertise to independently analyze central questions and problems of societal, political, and public sphere changes. The program develops skills in applying concepts, theories, and research methods, enabling students to work on scientific projects and present findings professionally. The study program is divided into three areas: social sciences (36 credits), inter- and transdisciplinary area (27 credits), and interdisciplinary specialization (27 credits). Students can specialize in sociology, political science, or communication science. The program includes a Master's thesis (30 credits) in the final semester and offers opportunities for international experience through study abroad programs and internships.
