📋 Program Hakkında

Hydrogen is one of the key elements for a climate neutral future. The course is based around the technologies that are necessary for developing a future hydrogen economy. Technologies for the production, storage, and transport of hydrogen as well as its use in various sectors and industries will be considered in detail. A unique focus of the course is on the use of hydrogen in energy intensive industries such as steel and cement production or the chemical industry. Other core content includes innovation management, the economic evaluation of various technologies and the integral consideration of complex, interconnected, hydrogen systems. The content of the first two semesters is divided into fundamentals of hydrogen technology including aspects of security, and compulsory electives to build up specialized, in-depth, and practice-orientated competences. The third semester is used to prepare a master's thesis.

* Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or engineering field (Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Process Automation Systems, Environmental Technology, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Physics, Materials Science, Materials Engineering) or equivalent qualification * Minimum ECTS required: 210 ECTS (applicants with at least 180 but less than 210 credit points need to provide proof of missing credits) * Proof of a total of 300 ECTS credits (inclusive first course of studies) is required to successfully obtain degree qualification

* TOEFL: 72 points or higher (internet-based) * IELTS: 6.0 or higher * Cambridge CEFR B2 First (FCE): Grade C (min. 160 points) or higher * Cambridge CEFR C1 Advanced (CAE): Level B2 (min.160 points) or higher * TELC Certificate: English B2 or higher * TOEIC: 785 points or more * Pearson PTE Academic: 60 points or higher * Non-standard requirements: At least 6 years of school English with at least grade "sufficient" in senior year; Completed English-language Bachelor's or Master's degree; Completed English language studies; Passing 'Technical English', 'Business English' or comparable English module with grade 3.0 or better (min 4 ECTS); Native English speakers or those who studied at least 2 semesters at university in USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or Ireland (min 50 ECTS)
