The dual Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at CBS University combines technical expertise with business knowledge. Over six semesters, students alternate between theoretical learning at the university and practical experience at a partner company. The program prepares students to work at the interface of technology and business, optimizing production processes, evaluating technical innovations from an economic perspective, and managing projects. The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of skills from mechanical engineering and electrical engineering to logistics, production management, and business fundamentals like controlling and marketing. From the third semester onwards, students can specialize in one of eight fields including Digital Business, Industrial Management, Sustainability Management, Sales Management, or Smart City.
