📋 Program Hakkında

This is a continuing education certificate program for Specialist Engineer for Facades (Fachingenieur/-in bzw. Fachplaner/-in Fassade). The program is aimed at engineers in architecture, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and related disciplines who work directly or indirectly in the facade sector. Participants with practical backgrounds (technician or master craftsman qualifications) in relevant facade construction trades can also participate after a successful admission interview. The program provides in-depth technical, constructive, and building physics knowledge for taking on leadership roles in planning, execution, and handling of complex facades. The curriculum includes facade conception, building physics and technical building equipment, construction and materials, structural engineering, costs and processing, and regulations, testing methods, and damage assessment. The program is designed to be completed part-time over 2 semesters with approximately 200 seminar hours.
