📋 Program Hakkında

The Intermediales Gestalten (IMG) program focuses on the exploration of space and time as artistic materials, opening up diverse forms of expression (e.g., video and sound works, film observations, animations, installations, performances, participatory projects). The program emphasizes an experimental-research approach that includes practical implementation as well as observation, analysis, and reflection - increasingly with regard to digital tools, algorithmic processes, and new technologies that change perception and design. Another focus is the examination of everyday life and culture, investigating how material and immaterial spaces affect us and structure our time. Students develop their own questions and explore the intervention and reflection potential of artistic work. The program includes two semesters in the Architecture department and interdisciplinary projects with other applied disciplines at ABK Stuttgart. In addition to artistic practice, the program includes art history, aesthetics, and art didactics components.
