📋 Program Hakkında

We explore wearable art forms, encompassing jewellery and wearable sculptures. Jewellery and worn sculptural objects are examined as powerful tools for understanding and communication embedded in contemporary life, including identity, culture, society, technology, emotion, and more. Artistic expressions will be conceived in relation to individual experiences and perspectives such as that of the self, the wearer, the artist, and/or the observer. The program aims to help students to define their artistic identity and develop a strong body of work. The Jewellery degree programme places emphasis on making and handling of materials, as well as accumulation of material-based knowledge. Additionally, the programme encourages public engagement with jewellery and wearable sculptures, both during creation and presentation, to better understand responses to students' artistic practices.

* General qualification for university entrance, and artistic suitability * The general qualification for university entrance can be waived in cases of exceptional talent combined with professional experience * Success in passing the university's internal suitability test, which is held once a year and can be retaken * Practical goldsmith craft skills are desired

* Non-standard requirements: Foreign applicants must have good German-language skills (as demonstrated by the DSH or TestDaF tests)
