This course covers the technical fundamentals of photography through practical exercises. It is mandatory for 1st semester Communication Design BA students and accompanies the 'Project 1 / Photography' course. Topics include: photographic principles, camera obscura, digital SLR camera handling, exposure settings, aperture and shutter control, lenses, digital image understanding, flash techniques, studio lighting, color management, and presentation techniques. The course includes practical exercises and homework assignments.
