The Master's program in Cultural Management combines economics and cultural studies in the compulsory area, including topics such as Controlling, Business Plan, Rhetoric, Cultural Policy, and Modern Theory. Students can select from various profiles including International Cultural Management, Cultural Anthropology/Cultural History, Media Management, Transcultural Music Studies, History of Jazz/Pop, East Central Europe, and Historical Musicology. The program is offered in cooperation between the University of Music FRANZ LISZT in Weimar and Friedrich Schiller University Jena. Graduates can pursue careers in various cultural sectors, from high culture to social cultural centers, from economic administration to project management or directorship.
