The dual Bachelor's program in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) at CBS University combines technical expertise with business knowledge. Over six semesters, students learn to work at the interface of technology and business, alternating between theoretical knowledge at the university and practical experience at a partner company. The program covers a broad spectrum of skills from mechanical engineering and electrical engineering to logistics, production management, and business fundamentals like controlling and marketing. From the third semester onwards, students can specialize in one of eight fields including Digital Business, Industrial Management, Sustainability Management, or Smart City. The program prepares graduates for careers in various industries, enabling them to optimize production processes, evaluate technical innovations from a business perspective, and lead projects.
