The continuing education Master's program "Public Administration (MPA)" is primarily aimed at professionals who already work in public administration or aspire to a career in this field. This university continuing education program offers the opportunity for professional development while working, to meet changes in the professional environment, actively shape them, or use them for career advancement. Within four semesters, students learn to comprehensively deal with the central aspects of public administration and expand their competencies in this important area. The practical and interdisciplinary integration enables students to acquire well-founded knowledge in administrative science and related disciplines, to effectively implement legal frameworks, and to develop innovative solutions for current challenges. In the first semesters, the focus of the part-time study program "Public Administration (MPA)" is on the legal foundations and structural framework conditions of public administration. Through case studies, project work, and exchange with experienced practitioners, students gain valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of public administration. Current topics such as digitalization, sustainability, and citizen participation are incorporated as the program progresses. Personal and social competencies of the students are also promoted to optimally prepare them for leadership roles in public administration.
